What We Saw in the Window
Pete the Brittany took a great interest in this toddler's play with the kittens (available for adoption) in this store window. Pete stood on his hind legs with his front paws on the window ledge.

This description lifted from The MERmade Mechcanic Quarterly: "Dave Walker currently owns the well-appointed Argonaut II, built in 1922 of cedar, teak, and fir. This beauty exhibits the luxury and grace of a bygone era, replete with fireplace and c. 1930s pump organ. A corporate yacht of her day as the Grete M, she went on to work for the Powell River Timber Company before becoming a deacons mission boat, hospital, and lifeline for Canada's upcoast communities as the Thomas Crosby IV, until sold into private ownership in the 1970s as the Argonaut II."

Morning Canal Traffic
Above them the I-5 traffic is racing, and on the canal the traffic is heavy this morning, too. Rowing is a major interest and sport here in Seattle. There are several private rowing clubs, public lessons and crew teams through the Y and other organizations, and schools such as the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University have accomplished instructors and rowing teams. These two women can be pleased with their strength and fitness.
